- What is Rascal's Roundup?
Rascals Roundup is a day dedicated to you and your rascal spirit. Also the day we rascals roundup, as a unified front, to tackle the world water crisis by supporting, Waves For Water, a humanitarian aid organization that provides access to clean, drinkable water, globally. Each roundup (either surf, snow, or bike) is hosted by a local rascal. All roundups will specify a sport, a location, and start time. To find out if there’s a roundup in your city, or a city near you, visit our Join a Roundup page.
We created Rascal’s Roundup to celebrate the rascal spirit in all of us; while using that same spirit to tackle a global issue, by supporting the work of Waves For Water. Because frankly, us modern rascals, we love our planet just as much as we love mischief. It’s time for that rascal on your shoulder to play hookey once again, but this time we’re giving you an opportunity to help change the statistics in the process...
Yes, we are asking something of you… we want you to go out and do the thing you love most, and do it in the name of clean water!
If you aren’t able to participate in a roundup but are passionate about our event, you can still sponsor a rascal or place a general donation to Waves For Water, which will contribute towards our program goals.

- Will I receive a tax-deductible receipt?
Yes, Waves For Water is a registered 501(c) nonprofit organization in the US, Tax ID - 27-1319189. You will receive your receipt directly from Waves For Water.
- Where does my fundraising go exactly?
100% of funds raised go directly to Waves For Water. Their program consists of three major solutions: rainwater harvesting systems, the construction/restoration of bore-hole wells, and portable water filtration systems. When they embark on a new (non-disaster related) development project, the first step is to do a needs assessment of the target area. Then, based on their findings and budget, they will design the appropriate program for that area. In many cases, it’s a combination program, with either rain-catchment systems or wells to provide a new source of water, then portable water filtration systems for each household – to ensure the water is safe to drink.
